That's a huge number of ECU's to be selling (ebay) to not just be re-copying tunes. Especially since every description is the same for every single ecu... "turned my S4 back to stock" and all the ECU's M, T, H, A box all have the same tune, same boost, same code outs.

People like him are just there to make a quick buck from people who don't know any better. That POS probably makes a killing doing it too.

but at least in the ebay ads, he's noted that hes had the immobilizer disabled...

Not to mention he's sold several non-authentic ross tech cables (based on the ebay feedback), and each ad lists "Don't need the cable any more; thus, my loss is your gain."

Its clear that some liberties are being taken when describing why these items are for sale....

I can only assume this is one of the reasons nefmoto decided to delete their tuned files section as well.

If dude is making his own tunes and selling them, great. I have a feeling that's not what's happening though...

I think he buys older giac, apr, mtm etc socket boxes, copies the files, sells the legit modified ecus as whole and then just repeatedly flashes the files onto blank boxes and charges an arm and a leg for effectively stolen software.

It's like he thinks people are stupid enough to fall for it these days. I'm sure he sells a few here and there.

I mean, when I posted my STG2++ file on Nef. that $hit was sold a thousand times over if not more by people who have no idea what a tune even is.

It's like anything else in this world, there will always be the scammers and pricks who want to take advantage of other peoples work so they can profit on it.
