    Hey guys,
Just bought a 2013 A5 S-line. Pretty excited about it but when i was test driving in noticed that "drive select" has three functions, maybe because the dealer was talking my ear off i was not paying attention but did not seem to notice a difference. Is this something that has to be activated A) when first bought ( i am the second owner) or B) through MMI?

have read several posts and still not quite clear. would really appreciate some info on this !!!

Drive select will offer you up to 4 profiles; Comfort, auto, dynamic, and individual.

Comfort sets the vehicle to lighter steering, and less throttle response
Auto adjusts based on driving conditions
Dynamic gives you heavier steering, and most aggressive throttle response
Individual allows you to set steering and throttle individually to either: comfort, auto, or dynamic.
You may also have correlating suspension settings if your vehicle is so equipped.

watch your tach and see if your cruising rpm's and shift points change for starters. you should feel suspension and steering stiffen up on dynamic too unless your PO changed the damps.

    thanks guys

appreciate the info.. Just been reading how it has to be activated in MMI etc or that some have options that have to be purchased.. I was not sure if it was just a setting without any actual function. would have been very disappointing.
