Oh jeeze, ...I became a 4-ring owner! After just under a handful of Volkswagens, the time came to purchase a slightly larger car for the expanding family.
While searching for a Sportwagen, my wife and I stumbled across this Allroad and didn't look back; and oh do we enjoy it.

Since this is the family hauler, it's not going to be a class showboat, but not completely a utilitarian hauler... hopefully something more down the middle.
Anyway, glad to be apart of the B8 / B8.5 community, and looking forward in sharing knowledge and updates as time goes on. Unto the good stuff:

As 65vetteC6 noted, this is not Crash's Allroad; his was a 2014 Premium Plus with the chesnut brown interior.

Prestige trim on allroad, but not other models. The allroad uses the 2009 dumbo mirrors.

No, you don't have it. You can retrofit it with a kit from Europrice though.

Yea no air suspension in the B8.5 Allroads. Pretty happy about it to be honest because the C5 air suspension was a reliability nightmare

Took some time to get the leather piping fixed on the driver's seat:

Also picked up the Allroad interior LED kit from ECSTuning [ES#2631555] during their "flash sale" ( https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2631555/ ), and installed that over the weekend:

The brightness difference is astounding - much more light during the evenings and was a simple process to install.
Key thing was having the non-marking trim removal kits - those were worth the purchase price and great to have on future installs.

Used Pike's Leather Repair out of Denver; awesome work done.
They filled, color-matched and seamlessly fixed the worn piping to original design.

No, the rear 4-rings are still on the hatch; wasn't planning on taking those off.

Back in early January 2017, local maintenance / performance shop flashed my ECU with APR's Stage 1 programming (91oct / 93oct / E85 compatible)
As a recommendation of the shop and APR, they recommended a plug change (see URL thread link) due to the increased combustion temperatures and higher boost levels.

So, today I finally got around to swapping over from the originally installed OEM plugs after 46,9xx miles on the Allroad (only some ~700 miles on the programming).
Some history on the OEM existing plugs (P/N #06H-905-601-A) NGK PFR7S8EG, which come to find out were standard on several different VAG vehicle of the same period:

Onto to the NEW - after reading / searching / picking others brains, I selected NGK BKR8EIX.
* iridium center electrode for higher operating temperature range
* nickel ground electrode with taper cut
* NGK heat range = 8 (one step colder than the OEM 7's)
* specified gap from NGK = 0.031"
* specified gap via APR = 0.024"
