Stasis/Ohlins motorsports coilovers - Rebuilding Experience - FEAL Suspension

Short version: FEAL suspension was the lowest cost and did great work.

So I've noticed the A4 has been crashing over bumps and riding much rougher than my 3/4 ton pickup. It had been making a rattle that I thought was the upper strut mounts. I replaced those and the rattle still existed. I started searching and noticed it was pretty common to ride horrible when the Ohlins are overdue for a rebuild. Every little bump was bone jarring.

So with Stasis no longer around to rebuild the units at a reasonable cost I did some research. I live in upstate NY so I was hoping to find something on the East Coast to save on shipping.

I called Ohlins in NC. They quoted me $1200 minimum depending what was needed.
I called a shop in Oswego NY that is listed as a distributor for Ohlins, they quote $250/corner so $1000 plus thats a 2-3 hour drive so either I spend gas and time or ship it.

I noticed a lot of people had good experience with PSI but they were about $800 plus shipping and the turn around time was logner than I wanted to wait as this is my wife's daily driver.

I then stumbled upon Feal Suspension http://fealsuspensionstore.com/coilo...es/#coilover-1
They were $150/corner and turnaround was 5-7 business days. I removed the coils, packed them up and shipped them off for $82! Feal received my package contacted me and the work was performed. They emailed me an invoice for $631 which included return shipping. My grand total was $713, still not as cheap as Stasis used to offer but the cheapest place I could find to do the work and have positive reviews.

Return packaging was very good. The coils arrived rebuilt and all cleaned up.

They feel so much better now. I'm not sure how many miles since the last rebuild (if at all) but the fronts showed signs of leaking and the ride was horrible. Now the car is once again a pleasure to drive.
