Update to my clutch chatter/slipping ordeal..

Pulled the motor apart this weekend and pulled the clutch. The TOB has indents from the pressure plate fingers, it is not suppose to look like this correct? TOB has maybe 7K on it.



The pressure plate shows blueing due to what I assume is slipping.
The pucks on the disk look OK, tbere is some black smokey buildup around the pucks as well. The FW side is considerably more worn down than the pressure plate side but I cant remember what it looked like new.




Lastly, I haven't taken the FW off yet to inspect the RMS but there is a good amount of oil build up in the bottom inside of the bellhousing so I think there may have been some oil contamination as well.

Any thoughts?

That clutch got eaten. Sounds and looks like defective TOB caused premature clutch failure.

Although RMS leaking shouldn't have had such a drastic effect on the clutch unless it was hemorrhaging oil
