    My 1.8t amb has been needing replaced for several months now. A friend of a friend has a 2002 passat 1.8t awm.

    Could I use that in my a4 or are there differences preventing me from doing so?

    I tried googleing engine swaps and couldn't find anything that was a direct answer even after searching through about 10 pages, thats why I posted about it.
