Audi Booster seats- Kindersitz Youngster Plus?

My kids are outgrowing their current forward facing car seats and ran across these Audi branded Kindersitz 15-36kg booster seats. http://microsites.audi.com/childseats/index.html#

Curious if anyone has used them in an S4 stateside, if so how did you source?

I found some on EU eBay but not sure the isofix system would be compatible with US latch connections. That might not be a bust since LATCH on boosters is more for convienience to keep it in place. The cars belt is used for the actual child restraint.

I looked at getting recaro seats when they were not available stateside. eBay was the easiest to get them here unless you know someone over there that can buy and ship to you. It's nice that recaro has all their seats stateside now, wish that was the case years ago. Not sure if you can find much crash info on the Audi ones. I would go with something that has been proven instead of branding.

Certainly safety / performance over branding.

google translate indicates ECE R 44/04 compliance, which is 50km/h frontal (31.6mph) and 30 km/h rear.

Us federal standards test for 30 mph frontal only. IIHS seems to love just about everything. (80+ best bets vs 8 not recommended.)

With the child seat youngster plus classic titanium gray / black, click the correct seating position for children from 4 to 12 years and weighing 15 to 36 kg. The backrest can be individually adjusted to the size of your child, a width adjustment of the backrest is done automatically by the size adjustment of the child seat. It features integrated mounting points for optimum protection. The Audi child seat youngster plus corresponds in all points of the European-wide safety standard ECE R 44/04 and numerous additional tests, such as front and side crash tests were passed successfully. like people have said. They probably don't pass safety standards here. Go with Recaro's Name brand for seating safety. Thats what I'm using and the 2nd stage seat kinda matches the S4's with the two tone interiors lol
