    Milltek valvesonic valve operation question.

For those in the no on the valvesonic system, i just installed my non res cat back and noticed that toggling between comfort and dynamic the valves are not closing. When installed I just dropped the old valves on top of the housing. I am not getting a cel do that leads me to believe the plugs are attached and making a connection. I noticed a pin extended beyond the pipe but didn't do anything to it. Is there anything you need to physically do to get the valves functioning? Also ignore the bent tips. That's how ECS mailed them to me.

the way the valvesonic works is that it only closes the valves at certain RPMs while cruising. will not actually open and close at idle, thats how the factory system works

Got it. I saw a demo on YouTube of someone showing them functioning but maybe they had an additional something deployed to do it at idle. Ill focus more on the ears while driving to judge their functioning. Thank you.

Some people have the valves wired up separately to a control switch, which operates at user discretion and outside of normal ECU modulated parameters.

By installing a standalone Valvesonic controller and bypassing the MMI integration. Read all about it here.

We offer the Milltek Valvesonic module and wiring kit on its own. Installation is somewhat involved, so give me a call if you'd like to go over it.

Another option is the Akrapovič module (P-HF840 - exhaust valve drive-R) for the S6/7. It makes the S6/7 work more like the RS7. Still reasonably involved to fit, but requires no extra buttons.
