Hello forum members. It's been a little while since I've been on these forums. Used to have 2010 S4 with all APR mods. Loved it but moved away from the brand due to needing more room and expanding family. Went with a new Jeep SRT. Freaking jeep was amazing. I had it modified with a Vortech Supercharger with over 600 HP. Quite frankly one of the best vehicles I have owned when you compare utility, horsepower relative to price value. Anyway, I have the cursed bug of always looking for something newer and faster. I wanted to get back to a sports sedan. Long story short, I found a used 2014 S6 prestige and traded the Jeep for it yesterday. This S6 is absolutely immaculate. It's a little higher miles than I would have liked (33k) but you can tell a lot about a car based on how the previous owner took care of it. I'm sort of OCD about taking care of my vehicles. The good part of this trade is that's it's a prestige with every option checked including the B&O sound system. It already has the AWE exhaust system and APR latest tune loaded. Windows are tinted and it has the custom K40 radar installed.
One curious question I had is that the previous owner cut part the top section out of the intake. Is that a DIY enhancement for the intake? I've not heard or seen that before.
Car runs absolutely amazing. While my Jeep was extremely fast as was my S4 before it, this vehicle I think will blow the paint off of those.
I've got special things in store for this car. The dealer convinced me to do the XPEL Ultimate for the front of the car, hood, etc. while there are no scratches on the car, I want to keep it that way. Please give me your feedback if you've done the XPEL. Can you see the lines or has changed the color context of the vehicle?
Next thing planned is to go full Stage 3 with this thing. Once the APR downpipes come out, will evaluate replacing the turbos, etc. If anyone has already gone this route, I welcome your thoughts and feedback.
It's great to be back in an Audi and contributor on the forums. Here's a few picks.
