Definitely not a B5 bar as that would be a paperweight. I'd get a B7 bar if they let that fly but I don't know.

Also ignore the posting about b7s in that thread it's one guy And he needs to go to the b7 forum if he wants a b7 group buy.

This is for b5 a4/s4 only and will include the brackets also or else most of us Will bail.

Again since reading isn't alot of your strong points.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just confused, saw the OP's sig which listed an 08 a4... then the thread he linked was for a B5 A4 group buy. Throw in that B7 post, and it started not making any sense to me as you cant really get group buy pricing across multiple platforms.

He only made that comment about the B7 bar because he knows I drive a B7. I know him from the B5 section. I use to have a B5 but no longer do. Yes I own a B7 and started a group buy for a B5 RSB. I'm still very active in the B5 section and there was a lot of interest floating around about starting a group buy for the RSB so I brought it all together.

How to Participate in the Group Buy:

• Add the Solid Rear Sway Bar and/or Rear Subframe Reinforcement Kit to your Shopping Cart
• From the Shopping Cart, apply the discount code B5-RSB-GB to your order. - This will apply the maximum possible discount (40+participants) to your order.
• Proceed to Checkout and complete your order. Once you complete your order, a full deposit for the lowest price tier (40+participants) plus shipping will be charged to your method of payment.
• Final pricing will be determined by the total number of participants. If we do not reach 40, the remaining balance will be billed to your payment method.

FAQ:

How will I know how many participants there are? - I will keep the list below updated on a weekly basis.

Why isn't it cheaper? - We are able to lower the price to facilitate Group Buys by manufacturing more of these parts at once. However, this comes with some of its own drawbacks as we have to prioritize the manufacturing and assembly of Group Buy items ahead of other items which we might have low inventory of. We have a limited number of skilled manufacturing and assembly technicians working here full-time to keep these items in stock. We also have a limited amount of space, which sway bars take up a lot of. Since we already order the bars themselves in relatively large quantities, the Group Buy does not offer us a substantial change in price from our vendor.

Will it be cheaper if we get over 40 participants? - In short, no.

Why is there a lead time? - We have a limited number of sway bars, brackets, and other sub-components on hand. These parts have to be bent, powdercoated, shipped to us, machined, and/or assembled before we can ship them. We also have hundreds of other products that we must juggle around on our manufacturing and assembly schedules. We want to get you these parts as soon as possible, but the lead time is required to set expectations properly and be able to offer a discount.

Why do I need to place a deposit? - A deposit is required for two reasons. First, it accurately shows us the number of participants committed to the Group Buy. Second, it is used to offset the up-front costs we incur ordering more sway bars, raw materials (billet aluminum), and hardware to make the things you're ordering. In return, we're able to offer a nice discount on your parts.

I wouldn't really expect them to match 2012 pricing, lots of factors come into play (inflation, material cost, etc etc). But most recent ones were a bit cheaper than whats being offered. Either way, the fact that they are doing a GB at all is awesome. Price isnt exactly where I hoped it would be, so I may hold out for future sales.

Let's put it this way, I'm currently refreshing every single piece of my suspension on my avant, literally everything, nuts, bolts , c/a's, end links, tie rods, shock mounts, bushings, and every other little part. Originally I was going to buy all their sway bar end links, rear sway bar, reinforcement brackets, rear upper c/a's, adjustable tie rods, and a few other items from them. After this, which I consider them basically saying "hey, we don't care about your platform very much anymore, just give us your money" I won't be buying those products, not from them at least.

Wait so when you say 40+ participants what exactly do you mean? 40+ orders for that ONE item or 40+ orders combined from the 2 items? It seems like it's just 40+ orders combined from the 2 items. Because there is only 9 different participants which account for 16 items ordered.
