Mods can we do something about the SPAM please

I just looked and half of the updated threads are companies with more than one thread bump. Can we clean this up?

That's not spam. Those are just thread bumps from AZ vendors and won't stop because they pay the bills. Annoying it is. I think they should have there own section within each model and they can bump away in there and keep the main pages uncluttered.

Use the triangle in the bottom left corner and report it.

Vendors are allowed 2 post bumps every 48 hours in each respective model section... just an incentive for paying to have this site up and running.

2 in 48 hours is different than 1 per day. 2 in 48 hours means you can post twice in 24 hours if you please. But then you've used up your posts for the next 24 hours.


Vendors keep Audizine going, so we really can't complain. The reason it seems like spam is because this subforum is pretty dead compared to others on this site.

I understand how a forum is run and how they put money in Anthonys pocket. Regardless, VMR has 4 bumped posts as well as need 4 speed (or whatever the name is) bumping the same thing over. To me its annoying which equals spam. We dont need to see the same message bumped because you think it makes you look relevant. You have a new product or want to promote something great do it. Just dont bump every single thread you have created to look relevant.

I totally agree with you, I think it's way to much also. But I dont think they are breaking the rules.

Not sure if the ignore button works on vendors. Visit the profile page and hit ingnore.

Thanks for the heads-up. Took me awhile to find this though, so in the future please post about such issues in the Feedback Forum or just send us an email ([email protected], [email protected], or [email protected] would all work fine).

You're right, VMR is absolutely out of line here. I'll have a word with them. Hopefully it's just a new guy on the account unaware of our advertiser rules.

We do that on our smaller, less active forums. I'll need to take a look at both the layout and stats of the B6/B7 S4/RS4 section. For now, we need to do a better job regulating the advertisers. We also need a dedicated Mod in that section.

I don't recall us doing that for the B6/B7 S4/RS4 section in quite some time (like over 5 years ago) but I know we have for the B8 S4 side.

Hey All!

Just wanted to drop by this thread and make a quick apology. I understand the frustration and just wanted to say it was never my intent to go overboard there. As Anthony suspected I'm new to the 'zine and, well, got a little overzealous with posting our content, pushing our thread count outside the forum rules without realizing it. This was a sincere oversight/error on my end and I wanted to personally let you know that won't be happening again! We're auto enthusiasts here at VMR and I'm looking forward to contributing to Audizine as just that - an auto enthusiast (as opposed to, for lack of a better term, a spammer )
