    VAG - COM Help

In this section, I haven't seen a thread where people with VAG-Com cables, OBDII adapters and technical know how come to trade knowledge, or rent out their own cables or help another driver with his or her cable.

Because of the length of the cable thread, I'd like to start one where people in the DMV area can quickly ask for help with things like enabling ADS lite, programming convenience features and general diagnosis.

For example, I only want to enable ADS lite, and it doesn't warrant me buying a cable and software. However, I'd like to meet a local member with one and solicit his/her help in doing so.

Hopefully, others in the area will join in and offer/ ask for help, and we could buy each other lunch or return the favor by helping with another's car.

I have a Carista OBD2/Bluetooth module and software that I can offer for programming convenience features, like Windows, lights and interior features, as well as enabling the hidden menu.

Feel free to contribute to the thread, as it really isn't for advertisement. This is for people who need help with small tasks related to vehicle electronics.

    Thanks in advance, everyone.

I feel stupid, because I checked that thread, starting this because I didn't think I'd get a very quick response... Thank you guys, and DirtD1ver, I'll be sure to PM you. Also, how do we get rid of junk threads?
