Good Deal on a 2012?

What do you think? Good Deal? My concerns is it's out of warranty. It looks like the T-Stat has been replaced and it has been really well maintained. Should I be worried about the no warranty...especially at the asking price?

Edit: The price includes an extra set of snow wheels/tires and a Valentine 1 radar detector built into the dash.

In our market it's about right. I paid a little more for mine at Audi scumburg. I saw this one before mine so it's been sitting for a bit. So they can play with price if they want it off the lot

That's what I'm leaning towards but this one checks all the boxes so it's soooo tempting.

Check VIN with Audi Service. It's possible original owner purchased Audi Care Plus which means it still has based on age.

I purchased a 2010 S4 and had to get battery replaced. Advisor told me still under Audi Care Plus til end of year. I was able to get 75k service free of charge. It would have been very expensive because it included DSG.

The owner of the car is a salesman at the dealership. He said he bought a 3 year/36,000 mile Audi Care warranty recently for it...but he couldn't include it in the price. I'm honestly not sure what that means. Can you buy Audi Care and then not pass it on?

Good point. Mine was CPO which was the price hike. Mine also had a few more miles then this one as well.

Sounds off to me as well. Naperville was little snake ish to me. Hoffman treated me well, Morton grove said I couldn't afford the car flat out. D bags...

My guy said he's not at Westmont audi. Was very nice to deal with. Not sure what they have on the lot tho.

As someone else mentioned I've seen this car sitting around for quite awhile so I'd make an offer reflective of that fact. Overall the car appears to be in good shape and the appears to have been owned by an enthusiast - radar installation - along with the tint and all season mats which add some value.

Personally - that seems a little high to me - I bought my car for $33K in CT with 52K Mileage a year ago.......

I just did an estimate on Edmunds.com - it shows a clean car with that mileage is $33K Dealer Priced....

So you tell me is the Radar Detector & Winter Wheels worth $3K - maybe ($500 Radar/$2,500 Winter Tires and Wheels) - but that's brand new pricing - so I would say that's not a good deal for 2nd hand items even thought they are worth while.

I would expect you can find an B8.5 (2013+) for that price with CPO.

Does it have a tune? Now maybe that adds or detracts value for you - but with no warranty - I might be inclined to add the tune value into $3K difference and it makes a little more sense.....

You're better off. I wouldn't say that car was a good deal. I just picked up a 2012 pretty much loaded with the full two years on the CPO warranty remaining for $32.7k. Shop around and check the classifieds here.

Also, know what you're getting into with the 2013. I personally hated the steering on it with my 2013 S5 so I push everyone away. Others here don't mind it (which blows my mind). Test drive a few before making a decision. My personal opinion is that the 2012 is nicer looking as well. Again, its purely preference.

I bought my 2013 S5 CPO with 41K miles for 38K before tax, with audi care (well remaining one is basically an oil change). It's almost fully loaded. I suggest you get a B8.5

This exactly. But it may still have some factory warranty left. You have to check the audi dealer. Just take the vin there and have them look.
