How many miles on you S6/S7? What has your experience been?

I am the proud owner of a 2016 S6. I am a high mileage driver. I am a high mileage driver. Picked up the car end of May 2015. I crossed over 27,500 miles today. Zero issues so far. In fact I have not even been back to the dealer. I do my own oil changes.

Each day I cannot wait to fire up that engine.

It is an amazing piece of engineering.

Anyone else want to share?

2014 S6 CPO, picked it up at 15k, now at 23k. It spent quite a bit of time in the shop for both front wheel hub bearings and a rear strut/shock; also had it there for rattling rear speakers a couple times. Something else too, can't recall what. They give me a loaner every time I take it in so I'm not that concerned, but it has probably spent a few weeks in the shop in ~10 months of ownership. Unfortunately just had to replace rear brakes/rotors due to shuddering and pulsations upon stopping, and fronts are due soon. I suspect the first owner was a bit heavy footed..

2013 S6 61,000 miles. APR tune since 5,000 mile mark. I have enjoyed every second with this vehicle. Regular maintenance at stealership. Only issue has been a bad sensor related to the cooling system which took a day to replace under warranty. I was without my car for the last month due to a minor rear ending incident and drove instead my niece's 2005 V6 Honda Accord. Just got the toy back last night and man did I miss it.

2015 S6 since new, 11k miles, oil every 5k, no issues other than had to replace the windshield because the left wiper somehow scratched it pretty badly. Dealer replaced it at no cost. Love the car the comfort, the speed, wife drives it most of the time. I wish it came with a manual transmission but my M3 fixes that problem.

A little over 15K on my 2013 S6. Had the recalls done and the throttle lag TSB before I had it tuned. Only issue was a rattle on the center speaker grille on the dash, fixed in a dealer visit. Loving it.

'16 S6, just over a month of ownership, 970 miles on the odometer, and absolutely love it! It's the best sport sedan I've ever owned by a looooong shot! I've noticed that the throttle response has gotten better when I hit the 900 mile mark. I'm guessing the engine/transmission is finally broken in. I do notice a slight steering wheel shudder during turns at speeds below 10mph. It's very subtle and barely noticeable.
I'm still contemplating a ECU tune and a little nervous about the TD1 code issue. Any thoughts and/or recommendations?

I do notice some electrical gremlins when it is very cold. Convenience entry doesn't always work, and I get an occasional erroneous signal that a brake light or turn signal bulb is out.

I had this issue and it was the battery which the dealer replaced under warranty (2013 S6).

50k miles. 2013. Top issues...
1. Throttle lag - addressed with ECU flash under warranty
2. Lurch from stop and then coast. No fix. "They all do it". And from what I have read I think that generality is correct.
3. Drivers window switch failure. Replaced under warranty.
4. Suspension clunk when driving over uneven surfaces at low speed. I reported this before, Audi found nothing. I am taking it in again for another look since the clunk is now more pronounced.

All in all a satisfying experience with a luxury sedan that goes stupid fast.

2015MY last batch run. 14300 miles. Almost no problems at all

biggest complaint is tire noise from stock 20" rubber which will be swapped out for MPSS when they're done.

Smaller complaints:
- slow MMI loads
- spotty syncs with the thunderbolt to MMI cable (not USB like in C7.5)
- hood gets SO dirty SO fast LOL

Do you have any additional information on the Throttle lag issue? I just picked up an S6 (traded up my S5) and find the throttle lag quite annoying in Drive mode. When in Sport mode, it's quite responsive, but the harder shifting can get a bit annoying. I prefer to keep in Drive, but only if the ECU / TCU can be programmed to be more responsive.

2913 S6. 78k miles. Been tuned since roughly 15k. Other than a couple TSB's, the car has been bulletproof. Regular maintenance and not driving like a complete jackass also helps.

2013 S6 with 14k miles. No issues, just had the 35k done. Just a couple interior rattles, and squeaky suspension bushings when cold. Biggest complaint is the stupid rear license plate holder. Had the carrier nut just push through. Bought a new one from ECS, because Audi refused to replace it.
