    Zimmerman Sport Rotors

Anyone familiar with these drilled rotors for the B8.5 S4? I'm thinking of combining these with akebono euro pads (my first foray into ceramic - read the lesser initial bite posts, and it seems this doesn't reduce overall stopping power and may even go away over time?).

On a related note, I've pounded my brake pads and rotors into submission after 15K miles (damn you Mulholland Drive!) and have access to wholesale prices on the above rotors. Thought that if they're good, it might make more sense than retail StopTechs.

Part of the reason I'm considering the ceramic pads is to better deal with heat build up and fade. Am I on the right track? Combined with better fluid I'm hoping that will do the trick. I know many are crazy about the SS lines, but my understanding is that's more a pedal feel issue and a friend tells me fluid and better pads will make the most difference re: my heat issues.

    Thoughts?

P.S. 2015 S4, owned 1 year, so not time for fluid flush.

Zimmermann is an oem supplier for bmw. I always have used their coated versions with no issues.
