Not 3k... Probably around ,1600$... Pretty competitive with awe's pricing... And that's for a quad setup!...

I believe he was quoting the turbo back kit, but the cat back is just around the ball park you mentioned.

Yeah correct... 1100 for a high flow cat is pretty steep as well...

Besides saying you have a $3k exhaust, there is absolutely 0 reason to put a $3k exhaust on a A4. That would be putting a turbo on a prius.....so you are saying you have spent $9k in exhausts? Agreed, doesn't affect me one bit, but you know what they say about a fool and their money....now, if this was a Ferrari then I get it.

Reason #1 It's my car and ill mod how i see fit. Where did I say I've spent 9000$ on all my systems??? Who the hell are you to tell me or anyone what to spend our money on. You mod and sometimes either you don't like it or there's issues with the said system. You obviously have no idea on price for exhausts on a Ferrari also. If it doesn't affect you why troll this thread???

By all means, mod away. The "turbo back exhaust system" is $3098. When the cost/performance ratio of an exhaust system compared to other performance modifications or exhausts currently on the market (KO4 upgrade - $3200 w/software, AWE exhaust - $1600), why would an Audi A4 owner (if you don't care about $3k exhaust, why not get a S4?) pay $3k for an exhaust?

A fabspeed exhaust for a Ferrari 360 is $1800. Yes, there are multiple types of Ferraris, and varrying costs, so yes, when I was in the market for one, I did price them.

I asked a simple question. If every A4 owner is buying them, great, I have a right to post on the forum any question related to the product I want. If you don't like my questions, I don't care.

You stated: "Been through 3 systems myself." Were you not talking about this exhaust system? That would be $3000 x 3 = $9k.

And yes, the MILLTEK exhaust for $3098 definitely blew my mind.....

Yes your right on performance vs price. Not always the best solution to trade in cars now that is wasting money.

You asked a simple question yes then I responded with a simple answer, your response is to call me a fool or anyone else that has spent good money on an exhaust. Questions i don't mind but when you call out someone expect it back.

I stated that i've been through 3 systems yes, none of these have been Milltek kits and never stated spending 9K. My point being is its not unheard of spending money on exhaust kits. I should have been more thorough explaining.

360's are rather old i was assuming you were talking about newer models. Older models have lower part prices.

There's not many people that will buy a 3k exhaust, but those who do it's there decision.

Whatever our differences are, lets keep this thread on track.
