"Central Convenience" options

Quick question: I drive a B5 Avant and i was messing with my "Central Convenience" settings in VCDS. Wondering what the "Rear Lid Logic" setting refers to and what it does when turned on and off?

Also regarding the "Central Convenience" portion if VCDS, im kind of curious as to how the "sum" of all the values works because all the individual values add up to only 15,215 but my starting value was 16,136 my current value is 16,200 and a lot of people use the value 16,232. So what does the value start at because I think I have most of figured out i just want to be 100% sure?

never seen a value that high in central, mine is like 00680 or something.

Well consider just the remote key fob value is 8196 im not sure how thats possible lol

Add the following options to your coding number:

+64 Windows up, sunroof close, and windows down with remote.
-04 One touch unlock of all 4 doors and trunk
-1024 Remove horn honk when arming
+32 Auto lock/unlock of doors (Doors lock at 15 mph and unlock when key is removed)

So if you are starting at 16,136 it looks like you were starting with the one touch unlock already enabled, [16140 - 4]
and at 16,200 you also have +64 (window remote enabled) [16140 - 4 + 64]
16,232 would be 4 door unlock, window remote, +32 auto lock/unlock [16140 - 4 + 64 + 32]

Well consider just the remote key fob value is 8196 im not sure how thats possible lol

Where are you getting these numbers from? Window remote is +64

Sorry i meant 8192 and was referring to the presence of a key fob in general not just the remote window control feature

Do you know what the "Rear Lid Logic" refers to, thats the only function i cant decide whether to turn on or off, because i dont know what it does lol
