So I got everything buttoned up and started her up. However, now the A/C and radio do not come in at all 😫😫.. A little backstory I originally took it off of the road because the accessory belt flew off damaging my oil pan sensor (I have since fixed that). When that happened I heard a fuse pop (turned out to be fuse #34 which I also replaced). Anyone have any ideas?

Figured I'd make a thread to follow it's progress based off of my other thread : Coolant Temp Sensor Help. Pics to come.

Changed out my snub mount today. Also took the time to do the accessory belt tensioner. But like all things with this car another issue has popped up. The belt keeps wanting to walk off of the pulleys/tensioner. I am at my wits end between this and the radio/ac not working. Looking at the tensioner and other pulleys as its running doesn't indicate that anything is bent or crooked but I can't think of any other explanations.

are any of the grooves damaged on the belt? grooves on pulleys okay? any other work done to the pulley/vbelt prior to the FIRST belt flying off? it sounds like whatever caused the belt to fall off track the first time is still an issue. I'd look deeper to address that before assuming it's good to throw another belt on and be done. if you used the same belt, I'd absolutely replace that. the shoulder of the one in the pic looks pretty gosh darn warn.

Double check that you seated the tensioner correctly. There's an alignment pin thing on the back side.

It's a new belt the belt prior to was a conti belt (which pisses me off). The grooves on all of the other pulleys look to be in normal shape. That's what confuses me.

The pin was removed (after the belt was installed so that the tensioner gets rid of the slack). If you see anything out of place please LMK. Thanks guys.

I can place the belt correctly and it seems like as soon as I start it up it begins to travel off. It doesn't take long at all. I way to correct this before it walks completely off and destroys something else 😒😒.

i meant the nub on the back side of the tensioner. i suggest making sure that nub is lined up right. your pictures make the tensioner look crooked.

Are those pics after the belt engine has been started?
Without the belt does the tensioner arm have any movement besides normal tensioner movement? Can it be pulled away from the engine?
Do you have a straight edge to check all of the pulley alignments?
Does the new belt walk off the old tensioner?

This spot correct? I'm pretty sure that it is in correctly. I'll double check it though.

Yes not soon after starting the car it begins its travels. Nope just the normal movement. It's too tight to pull away. The old tensioner is gone, but yes it was walking off of that one as well which is why I replaced it thinking maybe I received a dud.

As for my a/c not working I found the culprit. I don't know why when I checked earlier it looked good smh. The radio still isn't working but I figure that if I check the fuse in the back its more than likely blown.

one of your pulleys is mis-aligned or possibly bent if the belt is walking off. From which direction does the belt begin to walk? I would work back from there and examine each pulley in line. Maybe have a friend start the car while you inspect the pulleys for wobble. The belt should not walk off unless something is pushing/pulling it off. I doubt your tensioner is bad - both your old and new tensioner are acting the same.

Turns out the a/c compressor pulley is bad causing it to run uneven. I dropped it off at my buddies shop so that he can fix that (I wasted my week off working on this thing ) put my rebuilt axles in and some other things. I'll keep this updated.

Yes although my radio isn't working (I'm almost positive it's the fuse in the back.) You're going to look for fuse #5 (10 amp) on your fuse panel (drivers side dash)

So I'm at a crossroads here, I've decided to keep the car but can't decide whether to go single or F21. I know that it's two very different animals with their own pros and cons. My power goals are honestly ~430whp. Has anyone used the Project B5 STK? Thoughts?

Quick update as you can see the compressor bracket is actually cracked.

Grabbing the part from ECS tomorrow. This stupid little stuff is really holding me back from going stage 3......
