Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Anyone have experience using this mod called JDM pro-am?
Plugs into the OBD2 port so accesses the ecu.
seller claims up to 15% increase in hp with improved low end torque.

As per seller...The JDM Pro-AM downloads real time data through your OBD2 connection allowing the module to study your driving habits over a period of one to two weeks to optimize the ignition spark advance, air to fuel ratios and transmission shifting for the ultimate in power and mileage gains. Increasing your throttle response, low end torque and acceleration.

    Any thoughts?

The chipwerkes thing works. It's somewhat rudimentary, but we've seen it works. This thing, going through the obdii port however, strikes me as a marketer trying to sell me a back brace with copper infused lining...some bullsheet. If, it actually did something, how's it gaining access to augment all those variables? I'd be nervous it would be leaving a trace on your ecu and ultimately leading to the dreaded TD1. But, hey, the good guys managed to destroy the Deathstar too. lol

Buy that bad boy and 'stick it in'. Tell us how it goes...
