Can someone help me with a NADA Price

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking to get some sort of idea of trade-in value for my 2011 s4 with 88k in CT from the NADA book. Premium Plus, Nav, Bang and Olufsen, Sport Diff, dark blue.

Let me know if I am missing any other critical details?

    Thank you in advance.

19000 is the value I got from a VW dealer last night, thanks for your help. This lets me know I am in a decent ball park.

    thanks!

I've been told (dealer friends) that clearbook is the most accurate on the market today. Not looking to start a debate by that comment but here's another source to compare:

I've used Edmunds.com in the past - and it shows $18,100 (which falls in line with above) - I may have missed a few options as you just listed basics - but seems like $19K appears in line for a trade value.

thinking about a GTI, Golf R's are hard to find, and pretty much made to order. Both are not really a problem, but I actually find the GTI a bit more fun to drive. something about driving a slow car quickly is more fun than driving a fast car slowly if that makes any sense.

Nice choice on the GTI. My wife has a 2015 GTI 6mt and it's a lot of fun to drive, with a lot of features and high quality for the price paid.

still on the fence to be honest, I do love the S4, and getting the wife to sign off on another car purchase is going to be difficult. When I test drove it, it felt very nice. A lot of value for the $$ I felt. Very fun to drive as well. Again, something about being able to be up in the rev-range, but not driving insanely fast that is just plain fun.

    very hard to describe.

Does it seem like the bottom recently fell out of the secondary market for S4s? I would have expected prices to hold up better since the B8 is now out of production, and the US isn't getting B9 S4s for a while.

I almost bought a Golf R before the Macan. The lack of sunroof really bothered me. Drive wise, it is fun to drive IF it were a weekend toy. As a daily driver, having the the instant low-end torque of a 6 cylinder is so convenient like in the S4 or a Macan. I will miss my manual but the Porsche PDK is so good.

High mile s4's take a hit on value hard.

When I bought my 2011 two years ago it had 55k miles, DSG and it was $31k so for 3 years to go by and the price of the car not really drop too much (comparing my 2011 @55k miles ($31k) vs OP's few years older, slightly less miles and less favorable (by general population) transmission for $27k, which would expect to eb retailed for $29-30 is pretty good I feel like.

I get that, but it seems like even low-mileage '15/16 S4s are taking a pretty big hit. Thankfully I did not pay anywhere close to MSRP for my 2015
