Does it seem like the bottom recently fell out of the secondary market for S4s? I would have expected prices to hold up better since the B8 is now out of production, and the US isn't getting B9 S4s for a while.
High mile s4's take a hit on value hard.
When I bought my 2011 two years ago it had 55k miles, DSG and it was $31k so for 3 years to go by and the price of the car not really drop too much (comparing my 2011 @55k miles ($31k) vs OP's few years older, slightly less miles and less favorable (by general population) transmission for $27k, which would expect to eb retailed for $29-30 is pretty good I feel like.
