    Bixenon questions

Hi all !!!! Just a couple of questions regarding the retrofit of bixenon lights to my A4 B7.

I have the lights, ballasts etc. I also purchased the Kufatec loom https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/audi/...pter-audi-seat
My question is: Will xenons work just with this loom or i will need https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/audi/...fit-audi-a4-b7 as well ?

I know it's been covered in the past but i'd really like to know your thoughts

    Thank you beforehand.

It will depends on the lights you are trying to retrofit. I used the regular adapter to get my non adaptive bixenons on my car. I did not have to purchase the second link. The other link would be used for the Adaptive headlight feature if im not mistaken. Someone else can chime in on that one.

Yes, after you do some recoding via vagcom. I have AFS lights retrofitted in my car. You cannot retrofit the AFS feature, so they operate like regular bi-xenons. I did not install the leveling sensors, so I have to aim them manually if I ever remove and reinstall one.

Kufatec sells two harnesses. One non afs (just up down) and one afs ( right-left). I am interested in installing the first (non afs). Can I add it later on ? Thanks

I used a non afs harness on my afs lights and it works fine. AFS cannot be added due to certain non-programmable modules that will not allow it. I'm not sure on the specifics, but fly300kts is the guy to talk to about it.

First harness you posted is needed to get the headlights to work. You will have to code via vagcom to be able to use yor highbeams.

Second harness you posted could be bought and installed afterwards, its to get the afs function to work. I personnally have never seen anyone do it. Probably more popular in Europe because of the regulations.

Yes, but only after you change the coding in VCDS.
