    Looking To Improve Handling

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I got about $3000 to spend and I would like to put it towards improving my car's handling and overall ride quality.
From the research I've done, suspension, tires, and sway bars seem to be what I am after.
Anyone care to add input and/or suggest brands?

Sway bars will give the biggest bang for the buck that you'll notice instantly.

I think you've got the 3 key pieces there. Conti DWS tires are my recommendation in that area, but I'll leave advice on coils and sways to those with more experience.

Are you on the stock non-sport suspension?

Front and rear sways, then better tires, then the CR-15 upper front chassis brace.

    1.front and rear sways
2.bilstein b12 pro or sportline kit for decent drop handling and comfort
    3. cr15 upper front brace
    4. theres another brace behind the firewall
    5. you still have alot of $$ left for good tires.

    good luck

this should pretty much be good unless you want to track your car.

For CA and warm weather I'd go with a summer performance tire over the DWS. Michelin SS or Conti DW.

Thoughts on Alu Kreuz? Should he consider this in his budget?

Here's a really good review of the Hotchkis Sway bars. Right after I read this review I didn't hesitate to hit the order button. I feel like he does a great job of explaining how it feels.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys!
I'll definitely do sways first, then probably tires since I want new wheels, and lastly coilovers.
