RS7 HR lowering module install time

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just picked up the lowering module for my '16 RS7 and was thinking of installing it tonight. Just curious how long it will talke me and if anyone has any tips or tricks I should know prior to starting?

    Thank you.

It's pretty straight forward and you could get it done in 15 minutes max. The most difficult part is plugging the wires in that tiny space if you have big hands but that is fairly simple anyway.

Just curious why you buy this expensive h&r module, there is lot cheaper modules on the market with wifi (http://www.active-sound.eu/en/active...air-suspension ) and you can always use the free vag-com lowering?

Many people bought the module when H&R was only choice and nobody figured out how to lower with vagcom. Also, vagcom doesn't allow you to go lower than 17mm than stock.

That module from your link is very interesting but I wonder if it's 100% plug and play. I know that KW module is also wifi enable but some work on the pin is needed in order to make it work.

That's very interesting. 999 euros so like $1,100 bucks plus international shipping? Anyone have any experience with this module?

I'm also curious, I think h&r is to expensive without wifi, maybe the half price is just because of the brand name. From that video everything seems to work perfectly and they say its 100% plug and play.

I'm new and still have a lot to learn about VAGCOM but more importantly I picked up the module in the classifieds for a great price.

Hmmm, I thought I was first to offer on that one. He told me he sold it to a local buddy instead.....
