Bad online purchase on UNKNOWN OEM cap

Try to figure out the coolant leaking issue, bought a new Tank Cap FROM Europaparts.com. Asked for the Brand (desc as OEM) and they didn't tell. Fast shipping but received a Gates 31529 Radiator Cap that sold online range from $4-$8 included shipping. That i paid $10 + $5 shipping for. THE MFG part number on box is 31529 and not as OEM 8E0121321.

Im not going to buy any UNKNOWN OEM from this website anymore.

All the sites where I buy parts have the actual OEM one as well as a Febi/Bilstein one which ranges from $5-7, which on Pelican Parts was reviewed as "fits, but is a weird purple color." The dealer I buy from online has the actual OEM one for $23. I highly recommend RM European, AutohausAZ, FCP Euro, Pelican Parts, and ECS Tuning for parts as they always list brands.

I bought many parts from different websites before too, I believe if MFG part = Audi part that should equal to OEM part. I always try to find the lowest OEM part to maintenance my car.

Feel like took the Price Deal on an UNKNOWN hotel room on hotwire.com but found out price is HIGHER than regular price when you knew the hotel name.

I know many ad post here can find lower price on other website but at least they tell you what you are going to have.

    UNKNOWN OEM is a joke.
