Since he already made the thread might at well answer it for the people who do search.

.28 is what I'm running, they're stock plugs from the dealer that were pre gapped.
    It works just fine.

When removed at 30k it was .32
Probably from wear? How many people actually remove new spark plugs to check gaps.
    Go with OE plugs

I used the NGK 94460 (same basic double platinum plug as OEM at a lower cost). Also gapped to 0.028 (they came gapped to 0.032). From what I understand, OEM used to be 0.032, and at some point they changed it to 0.028. My factory plugs with 22k miles measured at 0.029 to 0.030 or so.

Here is a link to some discussion plugs you can use and gapping them: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...1#post11330086

Ahh.. I see. Since I have an early model (build date 7/10) then my car must've fell in that range before the revision.

What kind of plugs did you have from the factory? Bosch or NGK?

Stick with oem plugs at: .028

For dual pulley cars, one step colder at 0.028 gap. I'm getting these put on friday with some new coil packs. The Oem's were fine in cold weather but to be safe I'm running these during the spring/summer

Just did my plugs at 40K. Factory gap was 0.28. I have a 2011, not sure on production date.

Just swapped mine as well and the factory plugs were all between .028 and .030. Running .025(ish) with colder plugs now.

My 40k plugs OEM came out at 0.032" and had no issues on Stage 2.

I swapped in new Iridiums, same heat range at 0.028" with the dual pulley. So far, no issues, but I've yet to really run it hard and log.

How is the 0.25ish doing so far? I am changing my spark plugs I have very similar set up compared to yours. Thanks!

No logs to back it but, working great for me. Whiped has been running the same plugs/gap and logged his results (I believe) and has had positive results as well.

    0.028" for stock plugs
0.025" for the one-step colder plugs

The one-step colder plugs definitely gave me better response uptop.

    I logged the one-step colder plugs at 0.028, 0.022 and 0.025".

In the logs, they all looked pretty similar, however when you pulled the plugs and visual inspected them 0.028 was too big, 0.022 too small, 0.025 just perfect.

Keep in mind this was for E35 gas, not sure how it changes things.

Gona need smaller gap than that with one step colder plugs and especially a dual pulley car I'd go 0.025

My logs looked good with .028 gap running APR stage two and the chipwerke when I was using them in the summer heat (both on the 179 and 194mm cranks). Little to no corrections on the 100 octane map.
I switch back to OEM heat range in fall/spring with .028 gap

Quick update: after running one step colder with 0.024 gap the car runs ...pretty much the same as before. Logs show no misfires or pulled timings. Don't really know what else to log here.

However, my mpg went down the toilet, it's at around 8.2 to 8.8mpg. Does that mean the gap is too small? Should I run it for awhile and see if it readjusts? Advice appreciated

My car is dual pulley 3.27 ratio, tcu tune, plm intercooler.

You're getting better spark but probably using more fuel if you don't like .24 I'd try .26 work it always go back to the stock .28 it's really your preference on how you want your car to run especially if you're worried about mpgs

And if you're going off the mile per gallon counter the car uses probably need some time to adjust to the new Gap how long did you drive

Best way to see how it is running is to pull the plugs and read them.

The burndown on the backstrap says a lot about the gap size.

Ya admittedly I drove like a maniac to test it out lol. I only drove for like 30 miles.
What am I looking for on the backstrap? When I pull them out I will post pictures.
