My clear coat is peeling on my 02 A4 and looking for options to fix it. Can anyone recommend local shops that Plastidip or Autoflex? I'm looking to see the quality in person as I'm trying to compare pricing to a full respray.

My other option is to find someone local that has DIY and is willing to help me with the process if i ordered the DYC kit.
I wouldn't pay money to put a bandaid on something. Would rather pay up what is needed to have it done right and over with. I would get a respray. Especially if you intend to keep it for longer.

    This.

I had clear coat peeling on my wheels. I plastidip'ed them. About a year later the clear continued to peel, and since the dip was on the clear, the dip came off too.

That thought came to mind. Did you prep or wet sand the peeling areas?

I did a thorough cleaning & scuff sanding prior to dip but it was not thorough enough. I suppose if the dip shop had experience with paint correction it could be done.

ExtremeAutomotive in Stockholm, NJ on Route 23. PM me for further details. They do both Plasti & AutoFlex.

You can DIY it easily enough. It's definitely got a texture to it, but from 10 feet away it looks smooth.

This is a rattle can Dip job a friend of mine had on his Mountaineer:
