Are there any canbus LED bulbs that will work in the drl's and not throw a lamp out? I know I could do regular led bulbs and separate resistors, but was curious if anyone has tried the newest style built together.

To my knowledge there are none. I just did this three days ago with parts from superbrightleds.com and it took under an hour with resistors. I even added some extra wire so I could run them further down and out of sight. I was looking for the same thing you are, but IMO, it's better to just do it right the first time than try something that doesn't work and have to go back and do it all over again.
That being said, you CAN get canbus LEDs for the city lights without a resistor and those have worked fine for me so far. BTW I have xenons, can't tell if you do or not.

    Here's what I got for $55 shipped:

I tried the only Canbus ones superbright offers and they throw the bulb out code. I just live with it. Doesn't bother me.

I do have xenon lamps. I to just replace the little city bulb with canbus led, and they work great. That's why I'm looking at the drl. Plus they keep burning out.

DRLs, they are incredibly bright. I could probably drive with them at night.

I have Xenon as well. Haven't don't anything with my city lights. They aren't even active

Yeah the bulb out warning would drive me in sane ha glad I used the resistor. They are really bright I had some fun last night switched the low beams off just to check haha it's pretty cool but definitely not a replacement for the headlights. Love the look though, hate soft white filament bulbs.

Yeah I'd definitely use the resistors unless you don't care about the warning, but they really are very simple to install there's no reason not to. Just be sure not to put them on or near any plastic or wiring they will get VERY hot.

    Led drl upgrade

The short answer to this thread is no. The long answer is also no. Unless you wire in resistors.

Yeah not headlight replacements, but it for some reason my headlights stopped working I could make it home with the DRL's.

I just don't care about it. I usually care about stuff like that but this doesn't bother me for some reason.

See I do care. That lamp out warning drives me nuts. Well I will probably put regular bulbs back in for now. Thanks for the input

I haven't actually looked at the entire page, but there might be some here...

I bought my error-free bulbs / LED's for my previous cars here.

I'll have to look for the specifics, but i'm using some LED bulbs for my parking/city lights, that are supposedly "error free" and it still causes the light out error. However, all I have to do is briefly turn my dial to the "P" light selection and it goes away. Usually I'll leave them on, but I also have LED strips that I use as my DRL's, those I have wired to a resistor. No way to get around the error really without one.
