Coolant Temp Overheat Warning on MFD

I keep getting a Coolant Overheat Warning on the MFD. Car comes up to temp drove it around for 15 mins, stopped in my neighbors driveway chatted for a few, did a few pulls up and down the street. Parked at home kicked the heat on boom, Warning displays.

Just changed the CTS for the 2nd time before the drive, 1st sensor was from ECS, this new one was from Napa. Temp on the MFD is bang in the middle every time. Car has the JHM EFK kit and ambient temperature was 55 today. I had heard the fan kick on and off while I was sitting in my neighbors driveway. Also it would be on anytime the AC compressor is on.

This problem existed before I changed the thermostat a few months ago too. There are no air bubbles in the coolant system, I used a airlift system to fill the coolant system, I also have good heat in the cabin. If anyone has any ideas on what I need to look at next, let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jon

No mixing of the Coolant and oil. The Car is not overheating, I believe this is a false overheat warning. The temp gauge is dab in the middle every time, I can go vag com it to see exact temp.

    Question is:

What Triggers the overheat Warning on the MFD?
Is the CTS the only thing that would trigger that indication or I'm I missing a sensor somewhere?

Turns out I'm dumb, That was the low coolant level warning. The connector is worn out and wasn't making good contact with the new tank I put in last spring. To ensure I don't have any future problems I need to find a new connector that isn't shot and wire that in. Anyone have one?

At least you can blame this one on your pixelated cluster
