Jason, come on. It's 2016. NOBODY in their right mind buys Milltek garbage for their RS4 anymore. Overpriced, ineffective junk. It's an educated crowd in here. A JHM full exhaust, & the proven gains that come with it, can be had for the price of JUST the valved, resonated Milltek catback.

IMHO, Milltek sounds better than the JHM exhaust. But sound is subjective.

And what are the gains from a JHM exhaust? They don't make any claims on their website for the exhaust. I don't think any of the various exhaust companies make any performance claims for their RS4 exhaust systems. I think it really comes down to which sounds best to your ears.

It's all personal preference. If you call in we are offering exclusive pricing on Milltek for a limited time which is the reason for this post.

    Thanks for your opinion though.

I have a Milltek on my car with 2.5" knockoff catless downpipes which look exactly like the Milltek ones. The sound is absolutely unreal.

However, I wanted to be able to switch out cats and test pipes on a whim so I could get the car inspected more easily, so I actually bought the full JHM exhaust. Therefore, mine will be for sale in a couple weeks, but definitely not because I was disappointed with the sound or performance.

Just curious, where are you getting your figures from? JHM full exhaust starts at $3k, Milltek non-valved catback can be found at various places online for around $1699 right now, I would bet ECS is offering it for less than that if this is some "exclusive" pricing.

I am happy with my Miltek exhaust, unresonated/unvalved. Picked it up used locally so I put them on right when I got the car. It was supposed to just be a place holder until I got something I really wanted, but I like it so far. Keeping the front pipes stock atm, sounds a bit raspy imo when you mess with the front pipes/cats. I may go that route in the future with a resonator though.

Has anyone chopped the ends of the oval tips and replaced with a quad tip? Does that change the sound?
