Hello! Sorry if this seems like a dumb question or if its been answered somewhere before but I'm running out of time with school/work lol.
I'm thinking of purchasing a 2005 a4 5spd manual 1.8t with 90k on it. It's in pretty solid condition, checked all the common issues the B6's typically have and some my B5 had/has. I looked at the car yesterday and tomorrow I'm going to go back and drive it (didn't have much time yesterday).
But one thing that I can't tell if its really an issue or not is the fan on the radiator isn't spinning when I start the car. On my B5 it spins as soon as I start the car regardless of temp but I'm having trouble discerning if thats how it should be or if its just one of those things I just learned to live with lol.
Should that fan on the B6 be running asap when the car is started or does it eventually kick on as the engine/coolant heats up?
