dbc to dbw + facelift console

DBC to DBW what's needed from the parts car? 1.8t fwd a/t

Will the current cluster work or will I need to replace the cluster?
Harness will I be able to use the current harness (just re pin some) or will the whole harness need to be swapped over? Will the dashboard need to come out?
Will the a/t dbw throttle work? I've read it's different from the manual.

    Facelift center console.
Is the harness easily removable without removing the dash?
Radio code, is the concert radio code easily attainable?
A/t to m/t, Does the s4 shift leather fit the a/t center console?

Why would you want to switch to DBW. DBC has has more throttle response

I much prefer the feeling of driving a DBC B5 over DBW (have owned both) but that's the only real reason to stay with DBC IMO. DBW has so much more tuning potential and tuner options.

Pretty sure that is the parts car.

Yeah, DBW throttle sucks. The rest of it is leaps and bounds better than DBC.

more of the benefits come from the wideband tuning rather then switching to DBC.
For me though, i would just go standalone instead of swapping to DBW.

Yup just cause Me7. And gives me an excuse to do a semi wire tuck when I swap in the harness.

Here you go. In terms of the dash harness, you could technically replace the whole thing but the modifications are so small that it's not worth the effort. I'm fairly sure the TB is the same between auto and manual. I can't see a reason why it would be different, that would just add extra pointless complications from a production standpoint since the ECUs are identical.

Thanks. Read your thread a couple fays ago and now thinking if its even worth the effort. More support + launch control + nls BUT dbw. Torque model which is between a plus and a negative.

And i'd also need a new tb or new manifold or could just run the stock dbw tb + small port manifold for free.
