Audi CAN-BUS documentation. B8 C7 and others

I'm looking for ways to both read and send messages to the Concert stereo system, multi function steering wheel, speedo display and heating module through the can-bus.
So I'm looking for resources on this subject, both free and paid.

My plan is to replace the 6" screen in my B8 A4 with either a 7" Android-tablet or 7" inch computer screen (and a NUC), while still maintaining the functionality of the stereo and heating etc.
But I don't know what is possible through the CAN-bus

Any input on this would be highly appreciated.

I am working on this also. I currently replaced the head unit with alpine style unit x701d. Great unit but the speed vim is controlled through canbus. I have yet to find someone who has posted success in accessing the hidden menu through the Audi concert system. I am going to try it this week by getting the component Id and access code to manipulate the read only data. Once I have that I can change anything I want basically.
