    2014 S5 Jukebox issues

I copied playlist of 33 songs from my iTunes on my computer to a SD card. The files appear as follows:

    1-01 name of song

    1-02 name of song

    1-03 name of song

etc on the SD card. When I put the SD card in the MMI the songs are in this order and I can play them fine.

However when I import the 33 songs into the Jukebox, importing them all at once, they appear in the Jukebox

in a random order. Not the order on the SD card, not alphabetical order, not by length of song. This normally

wouldn't be such an issue, but the songs are a download of a concert and should be in order.

If you or someone would have someway I can either reorder them on the jukebox or import them in the proper order

    I would appreciate it. Thanks

OK. First thing you need is this or something like it: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

There are lots of tag editors out there and I do not want to get into a debate about the relative merits of them. This is the one I use and my instructions will be based on that. If you pick a different one, you'll have to translate over to that particular utility.

Once MP3Tag is running, grab the songs from ONE album and drag them over and drop them in. I know it can do more than one album at a time, but let's keep this simple for now.

In MP3Tag, scroll over to the right until you can see the "Track" column. There may (or may not) be numbers in this column. This is the order the songs will play in. If you want to change the order, this is the place to do it. You can do it manually or there's a Autonumbering Wizard you can run that'll poke numbers on them.

When you have them right, click the Save button to rewrite the tags onto the files.

While you're in there, take the 1-01, 1-02 etc off the front of the files. The Jukebox pays no attention to this and all you're doing is eating up the first several characters on the display with useless information.

Ping me back if you have any questions. I spent a LOT of time working this out.
