Does anyone know of a company that does a good job at refinishing wheels for a decent price?

A+ Detailing in Fairfax quoted me $700. The lowest I got was from JD Wheels Repair in Gaithersburg, MD for $500 total, hoping A+ will match it.

Yes, I got a set of peelers from a local guy here, but has a bit of rash and some scratches I'd want to get rid of.

I had some old Vossens refinished by A+ a couple years ago and I don't recall paying that much.

Yes, all four. I got an email update from him about a price match, said best they can do is $600. Seems very high to me, I could just buy a set of VMR's for that amount.

i was curious and got a quote from AWRS (allow wheel repair specialists) in baltimore and they quoted 150 per wheel which is 600. They said they would price match as well, hope that helps.

Said the same to me, thanks. I've found a few more shops that I'm waiting on responses for. Didn't realize repairs were so high

I had my peelers refurbished at Audi Chantilly. They look brand new if I remember correctly it was around $200 a wheel

I asked the same question in the S4 discussion board, and people have gotten them done for as low as $50 a wheels. Our area sucks

ok so apparently the quote is this...not sure if it helps, its cheapr for repairs, but 150+ for refinishing (depends what you need)....they quoted $99 for each wheel for spot repairs and blend areas.

keep that with a grain of salt. This forum is classic for low balling this kind of stuff, no proof. And everyone wants to make it seem like they are a pro at getting good deals. Same thing happens when people ask about price of their cars.

Most dealerships and shops sublet out wheel refinish work. Like the guy at 703-887-0621 named Rod. I forgot his company's name.

Going rate at audi Chantilly is $720 for cosmetic all 4, $1000 for a complete bend, crack, powder coating.

my summer set was destroyed by my wife going through a drive thru at the bank. I need to look up the company, but I bought the wheel insurance from Audi of Tysons when i bought the car and true to their word, showed up and repaired all 4 wheels. Also, from what I can tell, if the wheels are deemed irreparable (aka bent beyond fixing), they completely replace the wheel at no additional cost to me. When I can get some time i'll look for the company, I bet they have a walk in store somewhere around here too
