I'm selling an Aluminum T-stat housing that would replace the cheap plastic one VW puts on Passats that leak and can put you out for a timing belt job. This one is for $75.00 + 9.95 shipping!!! this one will last a lot longer than plastic counter parts. The problem is when these warp and crack. Some of the plastic housings leak right after replacing the thermostat due to warping. It save a hefty labor bill in the long run which can be in the upwards amount of $250 and higher to replace. The solution is to replace with the more reliable pre-2001 aluminum factory part shown here during the timing service. Compare this to new at $130+ for aftermarket. This is an OEM part. 078-121-121J 078 121 121 J 078121121J
