    Traded 2013 S6 for 2016 RS7

Hello. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I just picked up my new 2016 RS7 this afternoon. Here is what I ordered back at the end of September:

    Daytona Grey Pearl
    Sports Seats in black
    Carbon Optics Package
    Driver Assistant Package
    Head Up Display
    Power Assisted Door Closer
Heated Steering Wheel (Canada Winter > Flat-bottomed steering wheel)
    Alcantara Headliner
    Performance Package

For those in Canada who order both the Carbon Optics Package and Performance Package, Audi Canada gave a $1000 credit since both packages include the sports exhaust. I don't know if that was a fair amount for the extra exhaust, but originally I figured I'd get nothing. So, any credit was a welcome surprise.

I traded my 2013 S6, so it's a very familiar cockpit. I'll try and give my impressions of the differences between both cars over the next while.

A few things that registered right away: the brakes are much stronger and more precise on the RS7, the steering is faster on the RS7 which makes the car handle a bit sportier, and the car corners so much better with the Performance Package as compared to the S6 with air suspension. It is not too stiff with the Performance Package. After reading a lot of negative comments about how unforgiving the ride was in Dynamic, I was afraid it was going to be terrible. I don't know what everyone's problem was as it's perfectly fine even in Dynamic. It's really not that big a deal as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, here's a crappy cell phone picture for now. More later.

I personali hate the s6/s7 air suspension, its just too soft, even in dynamic mode, feels like a boat all the time. Do you have DRC suspension on the Rs7? The car looks great!

I don't think the air suspension on the S6 is the same setup as the RS7. I find air on the RS7 just perfect for me, especially lowered, but it's clearly a matter of preference. Congrats on the new beaut!

Until MY 2016 the Sport Exhaust was available in Canada as a standalone option. The price was 1,000 loonies so the credit you received is appropriate.
