Door doesnt close after window regulator replacement

Hey guys so i did my window regulator today and i started to put everything back together and close my door and theres a gap in the top seal of the door like it doesnt sit flush. I noticed there are these little metal spacers that were in there withsome of the bolts and any combination doesnt seem to help. I searched everywhere and no guide mentions anything but "just put it back together"

Do you mean the rubber seal? If so, then you'll need to press it in firmly until it sits in. Also, is there door card flushed with the door panel? Put the door latch back on? Pictures?

EDIT: I used the back of a screwdriver to roll the rubber seal back in.

No it seems like the top of the door is tilted out, i havent put it fully together. Its doing this with no door panel on and the weather stripping set in

It only goes in there correctly one way.

I suggest you remove the class portion and re seat it.

I understand that, all of the screw holes line up and the clips of the window regulator clipped in. The only problem is the top window frame is slightly tilted out and is not sealing, theres like a couple millimeter gap

Are the spacers in there correctly?

Thats the thing, i couldnt figure out what the correct placement of those little shims are. I know two of them go behind the big green torx bits on the top of the door, but the third one just fell into the door and i havent found anything that says where the third one goes but even with the two spacers on top it actually made the gap bigger

Yeah there are 3, driver door

Edit: alright so i solved the problem, basically i inserted the two shims in the top two #45 torx bits which i found are where they are supposed to go. then the third spacer goes behind the other torx bolt under the inner #45. I found that the third spacer wasnt wide enough so i inserted one that is about double the thickness and the door sits perfect and flush, will get pics on in the morning.
