Hi guys
Car has been running rough, smells badly of fuel, lurches as it goes up in speed. I had the EPC light on for a while, cleared all the fault codes with VAGCOM, drove around for a while, came back and scanned again. Now the only code is as follows (with no CEL lights).

I have recently installed the 034 HFC, but I think that may be a coincidence. The BSR tune doesn't disable (or manage) the O2 sensor and I haven't installed the mini-cat (034) for the rear sensor.
Is this simply a new pre-cat 02 sensor required in your educated opinions, or should I test something out first before dropping $350+ on a new sensor?
Thanks guys
