I have had it with my CVT, I replaced the TCM 4months ago and now I have a clutch pack failure, I'm really looking for a donor car, but if I can find most everything I can source small stuff from a hookup at Audi
Need 5spd trans, pedals, shifter and linkage, axels, crossmember, flywheel. I can/will put new clutch in.

I was given a 2003 3.0 cabrio with bad CVT yesterday. Will be doing the swap as well in the near future. Good luck with your swap!

Good luck with that one, you may find it easier to find a tranny set up than I did. Do a hell of a lot of homework before starting.
The 1.8t is tricky because of the crankshaft will only work with FWD 5spd or CVT. I could have used B5parts but I've read it a pain, so I sourced out a complete B6 5spd FWD car, so as much as I've read it pretty straight forward since I have the donor car.

Why is that tricky? It'll work with anything but an automatic AWD transmission

they made very few FWD 5spd B6 cars, and the only Auto they work with is the CVT. Not doing that again
