    Just curious.....Why aren't you going with the TT225 386 injectors? (part #06A906031J)

And you should really consider some form of intercooler upgrade. The OEM just doesn't cut it when you go to a big injector set up.
'03 A4 5-MT Motoza tuned Frankenturbo F21L With full supporting mods. Sold (and missed dearly).
'13 A5 6-MT Needs more Fun Stuff: Neuspeed PM / 3.0 TDI Intercooler / H&R OE Sport Springs / Bilstein B8 Shocks / TyrolSport Brake Stiffeners / ECS Short Shifter / S5 Side Skirts / RS Grille

Metal TIP will not allow for any movement, which can be a problem if you're using a stock air box.

They are not the same. They are an older version (EV6 versus EV12) I believe they have a 12° dual cone spray pattern instead of a 15° spray pattern. Here's some discussion in this thread: Clicky click®

Don't bother with the 3.0 Snorkel. Clicky click®

I had issues with my long term fuel trim and running lean when I was running the Bosch 380cc injectors, switched to the TT 386cc's and all was well.
I don't know if the spray pattern will have as much affect as the missing 6cc's (x4) but the program was written for a specific injector, use it.

I agree, stock air box is fine with K03 & K04 setups. And so is the stock TIP in my opinion. With BT applications is another story. The problem is that the airbox is fixed to chassis, it does not move. Turbo is attached to the engine, wich moves up & down quite a bit. That's the reason stock TIP is designed the way it is. Unless you have flexible bands between the airbox to TIP, and TIP to turbo, something will give in with all those rigid connections. Forge silicone TIP, or similar, would be a much better choice, sturdier than stock.
