soooooo i need some help... i ended up keeping my car after crashing it and have been fixing it... I'm in the final stages but, i cannot get the car turned on... i have almost everything connected except for the two horns, the radiator fan module and sensor for the garage opener.... now... i tried cranking the car yesterday and i just hear clicks. i know that there is a fuse that pops when there has been an accident but i also tried jumping that a fuse just to see if the motor is good.. but i just clicks and clicks and clicks.... is there something that may be causing it?

in the accident the steering wheel air bag popped and so did the side curtain air bad on the driver side and driver side rear curtain... is there a module i need to replace in order to be able to turn the car on? I'm not sure if i have to do any type of coding? so i haven't done any coding ( i don't have a vagcom :( ) any recommendations or ideas? and does anyone know where i can get the fuse for the battery aside from dealer ? (they want almost 400$ for it)

i had the same issue with my a5 after i got in a accident. it would not start when i tried to jump the fuse on the battery when i replaced the old one with the new one that i bought the car started right first try. i would start with that becasue either way you will need to replace that fuse unless you plan on jumping that fuse every time you want to start the car.

Sounds like a battery issue or an issue with the battery "protector". The protector has 2 100amp inline fuses that can blow in an accident to protect the electrical systems of the car. Check those first, otherwise my bet is on the battery. With the car in a rebuild state for a long period of time with sensors/connectors disconnected, it can put a strain on the battery.
