I have been using Eagle One Nevr-Dull for the past year on my chrome AWE exhaust tips and it works pretty well. If I had a fresh start with those exhaust tips (they were two years in service by the time I got around to using any kind of polish on them), I'll bet they would be as clean as the photo 14S4GWM posted. As it stands now, I can get the outside surfaces and outward facing edge of the tip wall relatively shiny so as to give the tips some definition, but there is permanent degradation of the surface on the inside of the tips to get it back to looking new.
I think the big confusion comes from AWE making a statement that only soap and water is to be used, but I believe that statement was a blanket CYA which included their diamond black finish. Meanwhile we have all shown that regular off-the-shelf polishes will work on the standard chrome finish. I think the key is to start this polishing regiment right off the bat with brand new tips, to stay ahead of the carbon buildup and prevent permanent discoloration.
