    Unhappy Audi Concert II problems

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have an Audi A4 1,6 (B6) from 2003 and I recently replaced the Blaupunkt San Remo CD32 that the car was "born" with, with an Audi Concert II. After the installation several problems occurred:

    - No audio from rear speakers
    - No light in buttons on the radio (except in the display)
    - The radio doesn't turn on/off with ignition (nor did the Blaupunkt prior to the replacement)
    - No radio info on the dashboard computer display

I've found various posts that talk about the same problem, but I didn't find an exact answer to my question, so I talked to my local car dealer. He said that it can be fixed by testing signals from the harness and a little bit of re-wiring, but he recommended that I buy some kind of converter/simulator/emulator on eBay - the question is just which one should I get? Is it a "canbus emulator"? As far as I know the B6 should already have Canbus. The biggest problem is the missing light in the buttons and the rear speakers not working, so if just that could be fixed I would be happy. Your help would be much appreciated!

There is one fat wiring harness and it's separates to three thinner harnesses behind the radio. For none BOSE and without CD changer connections are:
20 Pin black plug.(Info and rear sp.)
    1) Green-Line out - Left rear
    2) White-Line out - Right rear
    3) Brown-(two wires together) - Line out (GND)
    6) White- + for power amp.
    7) Orange /Violet-CAN Bus - High
    12) Orange/Brown-CAN Bus - Low

    8 Pin plug Brown (Audio)
    3) Brown/Blue - Right front sp. +
    4) Green/Blue - (2 together) Right front sp. -
    5) Brown/Green - (2 together) Left front sp. +
    6) Blue/Yellow - Left front sp. -

    8 Pin black plug. (Power)
    3) Green/Blue - DLC
    7) Red/Blue - +
    8) Brown - GND

If radio and front speakers work, then your problem lies in upper 20 pin plug. Find and connect those wires and all should work. Pin assignment should be on radio sticker. Added also correct wiring for other two plugs just in case. Good luck!
