    034Motorsport Control Arm Kit Reviews?

Last summer I participated in my first HPDE at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in my 90,000 mile B7 2.0t A4 M6. It was beyond fun to say the least. For a few weeks after, my left front suspension made a creaking noise while turning into driveways etc at slow speeds. I put the car up on a lift and checked everything and nothing seemed loose, broke, torn or out of the ordinary. I was short on time a month ago and took my car to my local Audi dealer for an oil change. i asked the tech to take a look for himself. He came back and said my lower control arm bushings were shot, my left tie rod was shot, and 3 out of the 4 Eibach Springs on Koni FSD struts were broke. Alrighty then. The car rides fine, sits fine and hasnt made any noises since the summer. Im an ASE certified diesel tech and i think i would of noticed these things over the past 7 months of tinkering with my car. The car is a daily driver for atleast the next 2 years, but i plan on doing Mid-Ohio HPDE again and possibly treking to Watkins Glen, VIR with the local Audi Club etc in the future. I have researched, read every review good and bad of Control Arm Kits on several forums and cant make a decision on what to buy. It seems every brand has its positives and negatives. Just when i decide on a kit, i read something that says i shouldnt purchase. My question is...

Does anyone have any long term reviews of the 034 Complete Control Arm Kit for our cars?

My plan is to get the suspension situated, add upgraded sway bars, buy an extra set of dedicated wheels/tires/brakes for track days and go have some fun. Adult life (mortgage, student loans etc) keep me from dropping all my cash into this car, so spending 1000 bucks for OEM stuff is out of the question. Any advice from my fellow B7 lovers would be greatly appreciated!

FCP Euro is what I have on my car and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I was less than impressed at the longevity of the 034 adjustable control arms I used to have though. The heim joints were trashed after 2 winters.

Yeah, the 034 adjustable arms have spherical bearings instead of ball joints.

I would have to agree here with aluthman. Hard pass on the 034 adjustables.

I was gonna go with the 034 arms until I heard about lifespan of them. I bought the FCP euro kit and it is a great deal, but I really am wishing I had camber adjustment. My front tires where trashed when I pulled them off for the winter. Only had like 13,000 miles on them and I wasn't completely slammed.

You need to have your toe set to zero.

With the Koni/Eibach set up I have the camber isn't too bad. I don't really have an issue with tire wear. I don't plan on buying any control arms with spherical ends as this will be a daily for a couple more years and I don't feel like replacing ends every year due to crappy roads in NE Ohio. I've been leaning towards the 034 kit, but would like to hear from someone who has run this kit for a few years.
