Has anybody tried running only a larger heat exchanger to see the benefits?

I was considering going with the PLM cooler and tank, but im not too convinced that the tank is really doing anything beneficial(allows a bit more coolant in the system)

    No where

It will put more stress on the stock pump. Also, more coolant will take longer to heat up but at the same time it takes longer to cool off. If the car sits in traffic or a staging lane at the track then the larger volume of coolant will not help, especially right after a run.

    Hello,

    Look at this !

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...oductory-Sale!

Maybe the simpler / cheaper system and i am sure i will have a great efficiency.
Another Advantage is that it is the most discrete system abvaible.

I'm satisfied with only the HX. It keeps the iat in check. The tank is usually at ambient temp after a few runs, maybe a tad bit warm but nothing crazy. Havnt had a chance to log at the track as my logs come out corrupted, but from my experience, it's sufficient.

Ill give another go next month.

Edit: I have the tank lol I misread that you're trying to run it without the tank
