    Anyone got the part number for the camshaft position sensor o-ring???? cant find anywhere online (including partsbase) and dealer just ordered me the wrong o-ring!!! Thx a lot

    GAP seems to agree with what Phil said. The crankshaft position sensor o ring is available separate but they dont show anything for the cam sensor.

    Not available separate. We have great pricing on OES cam sensors though! You can even see in the pic its just a Genuine sensor with VW/Audi logo scratched off.

    You can use any o-ring with that as long as it's in spec with the original. I have 2 boxes full of them, one in metric one imperial. You should be able to
    find the same thing in an auto shop

    I agree just be careful with O ring material. Make sure not to use EPDM with applications that will see oil. This is the only compound available at my local hardware store in metric sizes. Nitrile would probably be the next most common compound which will work with oil.
