Yeah its been the same for us, I just find it odd I haven't had this situation on any other car I've owned unfortunately.

The windows on my B8 froze shut a few times recently but it was very cold those days, single digits over night. My B6 windows seemed to freeze shut just as much. While I haven't tried it with the B8, on my B6 I wipe some silicon lubricant in the window seals and it helped. Basically anything that won't freeze or wash away easily will give your windows a fighting chance. One thing I did notice, I could easily break the windows in my B6 free by pushing on them slightly or rocking them up and down but I could not manually break the B8's free without letting hot air hit them for awhile.
