Removed due tom the pressure plate failing,had to put a standard clutch & flywheel on to get the S4 back on the road

I sent the pics to Eurocode at the time & they said it was fine to use,but I had the standard kit in as I needed the car

Is this a single mass flywheel? Just curious, and will it work with any clutch?

The plate is available separately.
I was assured by eurocode that I would have no issue using it as is though

I am waiting for a quote back from Eurocode right now. I sent them the pics and they said it isn't usable and needs a new plate. Trying to find out how much that is before I do anything.

Funny that,they told me it was fine & tried to sell me a stage 4 clutch kit :(

They said to me that as long as it was not uneven on the surface & was even it would be fine.
Funny how the story can change depending on who asks

I am currently selling one of your flywheels on AZ 2nd hand.

When I sent you pics of it after the clutch plate failed you said it was fine to use as long as the surface was true with a straight edge.
Now I am hearing from a potential buyer that you say the friction plate will need replacing.
Please tell me how this is possible if previously you told me it was fine

The clutch can be usable. But, if someone is putting a new clutch on their car, it is of their best interest to put on a new friction plate.

It has a replaceable face. Why not just replace the face- it's literally new then.

I went rounds with Eurocode just trying to get a quote for a new face and gave up, they couldn't give me a price without jumping through hoops.
