Is there any DIY that anyone on the B7 platform would like to be done? Please give me some input so I & fellow members can know what would like to be worked on.

Hey. This sounds absolutely awesome the two I'd personally want at the moment -

Door unlock switch replacement (think it's probably related to door panel one but not sure)

    Transmission mount (tiptronic) replacement.

Yeah I just had this great idea people always come here for more information and was looking for a means on input on things enthusiasts have been wanting to learn. This is just a way to give back to the community; keep supporting all the vendors that give back to the community and spread the information so individuals can not only learn to work on their own vehicles but maintain them for years to come.

I might be able to help with both of those this weekend. I can probably put together a pretty simple diy

I was looking through some other DIYs but I wasn't sure, is there one on removing the side mirror caps? The painted part, not the whole assembly.

is there a de-coking DIY for our cars ?

i saw one on the BMW . but not ours . I imagine it entails entire cam and chain removal so might be done with a timing belt job.

I may be able to do that one as my chain tensioner is going. I'm already aware of the process so it should be like a 2-3 hour job for me. Debating whether I should take the head off for this.

might be able to tie this one in with the decoking .

im thinking removal of at least intake camshaft is required .
