Facelift EDCODES and Facelift Tails

Ecodes are non adaptive , fair condition, daily driven nyc roads (includes bulb and ballast)
tails are euro spec, excellent condtion, includes harness , no coding, plugs to connect to stock wiring are not perfectly fitting tight, need tape to secure but works fine

Ecode headlights will require slight coding to disable the outer amber parking light that is non existant on ecodes.
Should post the Audi part # for those 8T0 941 XXX Y or 8T0 941 XXX YY

Should also post the Audi part number for the rear Facelift tails to discern if they are the North American spec (with red turn signals) or Euro (ROW) spec with amber turn signals. Should also mention name/type/colour of adapters for the tail lights. If it's Kufatec or perhaps from Europrice. Should also mention if your tail lights come with the long single wire with connectors on each end that attaches from one of the inner tail lights to the BCM to enable the rear fog light function after it's properly coded. Headlight switch 8K0 941 531 AL is required to complete that portion of the rear fog light function.
If the Kufatec adapter harness was used, it's strongly recommended not to use it's one-time-use dongle to program the BCM. Instead, it's recommended to code all sections manually.

the harness is one long wire, i purchased from illben who was making the looms by hand a while back, not from any company, he had a relationship with davidb8 at the time who was doing the coding so it was a two step process. illben made the harness and provided the lights and david did the coding.

Two names I'm familiar with. davidb8 has been missing in action for years but his Enthusiasts page lives on - thank God. I'm not sure if illben is still in the game much. Is he not from the UK? I think I have seen his name most often on the A5OC forum?

The reason I mention this is that there's also Valeo branded ones as well. For the most part they look the same but the part number and Audi logo info on the label is different. They're also about 40% cheaper then the oem ones.

True, they do. If you look to the ECS site, you'll site the they are listed separately and have different part numbers. There's also a considerable difference in price as well. OEM labelled/branded ones have passed Audi scrutiny to be used/installed on Audi's whereas the non oem labelled ones are sold directly from Valeo and are not installed on Audi's. The Valeo part numbers are different from the Audi part number and do not carry the 8T0 941 XXX part numbering scheme. As long as they have that numbering scheme, then they're true oem Ecodes. There's about 6 different 8T0 941 XXX oem part numbers depending on year of make/install.

this is the right harness for the b8 but you will need brackets to screw the lights in and you need your own coding
